Yeah but why not sell the complete bolt on stack when the injector body itself is generally fine??

The loom is now obviously more heavily insulated, and I can't see that as an impossible task to get made up worst case. It's a few hundred from the dealers apparently. The whole problem is insulation breaking down due to hot oil over time in both the loom and or the pizeo component of the injectors, as far as anyone on the net can figure. Sounds likely to me.
There wouldn't be any point. The loom gets brittle over time but doesn't seem to break unless it's removed as part of the injector replacement process. The injector failure is the big issue until it is properly resolved.
If the piezo controlled injectors were as reliable as the "normal" PD versions, then replacing the loom every 100,000km would probably be a good idea.
If you got the car from a dealer, did they give you a warranty? If it was private, well, there's probably not much you can do!
Yeah got warranty from dealer just hope it covers all of it giving them a call now to see if it's ready yet
got car back finally they replaced injectors but dunno if all or just 1 they never gave me a paper report on what was wrong.. just had to sign papers for warenty so i hope i dont have any problems
