    Xenons for B6 Passat

Guys - really wanted this for my B6, however was a long wait for a car with these and the other options I wanted.

Can they be retro fitted - or a complex and expensive exercise, with requiring the ballast and other bits etc.

    thks

    Hi Oil Burna,

Just wondering how you went with the after market xenons for your Passat?

I wouldn't do it after market. I'd rather wait if I were you.

Did you mean RichDaves post page 4 of MY08 Passat thread?

If not, it is interesting to say the least and may be worth thinking about.

    Active xenons

    Hi,

If you really just want xenons (I cannot imagine why that's so important) then yes, you could easily do a convesion.

The big deal with the active xenons is the active bit. They point to the road as you go through corners, and at low speed, there's a third halogen light that points at about 45 degrees to the car as you turn so that you can see into driveways etc.

So if you wanted the active xenons, it's a pretty major conversion... Best advice is just wait. I waited almost 6 months for mine, and honestly don't regret it!

LOVE the TDI - ADORE the DSG - as for the active lights, you don't realise how good they are until you get back into a car without them.

    Xenons

I waited 6 months for my Passat with the active Xenons, they are magic and worth the wait.
