    Got the ultraperformance contis on my R36 and they are spectacular! OEM on the porsches, Beemers and mercs. Apparantly the wear is very good on them also (not so sure given the fun to be had on the Canberra round-a-bouts). Priced a set for a mate and they are reasoably cheap at $450 a foot for the 235/40s.

    I got Conti's on my new Audi 4 years ago and got about 20,000km's more than any tyre after that. I found the grip also much better, especially in damp or wet conditions. I'm sold on them since then, lucky VW fitted them for MY10 cars but don't think I'll be getting the mileage I got on my Audi though...... but that's a small price to pay
