I am still confused as to how the parking sensors have any influence on wheel alignment. As far as I am concerned that's like saying a wheel alignment on a blue car is more/less expensive than a red car. Very odd.

If the wheel alignment had influence over the overal turning circle then I can sort of understand as the auto parking might have to be re-calibrated.

I am going to quiz the guy at the shop tomorrow.
Im gonna monitor this thread. Just got my wheels aligned and no one mentioned anything other than wheel alignment.
My car has Active cruise, lane assist and park assist 2. Used the park assist after wheel alignment and i never noticed any different shouldn't the car cpu calculate the space and angle then feed it to the steering. If the steering or positioning of the car is off due to bad alignment the park assist radar should recalculate and try again.

I got my alignment done for both back & front for a total of $65 which included rotating tyres front to back & visa versa. They provided a detailed before/after measure as an FYI.

They do recommend an alignment every 5,000-10,000 klms depending on your driving etc. Mine is driven 100% on made road so I'll do it every 10,000 klms & see how I go next time to determine how far out it was.
