Yes, I was told the same no sports Package and booster seats combined. Which is a real shame. The auto tail gate is great my friend has the new BMW x3 and he can be holding bags or his child while not having to lift the heavy tailgate... Wish I had it specially in rainy days

Fair call as the GTR puts out about 350kW
But I was actually thinking of my previous A3 2.0T which seemed to have a bit more midrange punch
A friend has a 3.0TDI A5 and while ultimately it would be slower than my R36 it certainly feels quicker
My main reason for wanting a Turbo car next time is a simple chip can make a huge difference when I get bored.

To get back on topic the Adaptive Cruise is awesome and a good option.

Do you know if the MY11 B7 3.6L V6 has launch control?? And how do you activate it?

    Yes it will....

Put the DSG into 'S', turn off the Traction control (TC), left foot on break, right foot bring revs up to about 3000 then release the break............... Hold on.....

Just be aware that it only works when the DSG is upto operating temp.

How's people's 220kw V6 FSI passat..Im thinking of upgrading in a year and moving back to petrol coz I long for that powar!
Is the performance of the V6 comparable to lets say a 335i BWM or a 135i BMW?
Or any cars that can do 0-100 in 5.6 secs? Im curious.

That is a very hard question to answer cru22z. I think both BMW's are turbo (not sure).

I have gone from having a string of turbo cars to now having a normally aspirated V6. Initially I had to chage the way I drove the car because it felt powerless under 3,000 rpm when compared to my WRX or Mazda 6 MPS (in reality probably not). Now I am used to it, it certainly is a beautiful engine.

Now if I could get this V6 with a turbo.....WOW!!!

OK, seeing as this thread has floated back up, better set the record straight on the Dynaudio... it is now way better than when i first got it... it starts off harsh, which means you don't turn it up, which means it stays harsh... after a while it got a little better, then i turned it up a bit, and the getting better accelerated ...

What finally fixed it was when I was washing the car, doors and windows shut... it put Mezzanine on loud without thinking anything of it... I got back in the car after the wash and the thing had a step change and that was it, it has settled down.

Apart from thinking about a stealthy sub at some stage, i am reasonably happy with it now.... it does reproduce a poor feed or recording faithfully though so 300 killerbitziespersecond or nothing...

You would be amazed what an underseat sub on the passenger side will do for the system, espcially if you often listen to Mezzanine or similar! You honestly won't believe it.

You're spot on about the need for high quality repro too. CD quality (or as close as you can get) is what the dyn's demand otherwise they will reproduce the rubbish. Dyn's are also very sensitive to source quality, so that is most likely another issue for them (a really good headunit/amp would probably make a big difference).

The best thing you can do to help your Dynaudio system is to put Dynamat inside the doors. I put this in my R36's even with the standard system and the difference in bass was quite amazing, still not great, but it made a big difference over the system without it. I put it in the doors as the first step in a step by step system on my way up to a full upgrade.

I will be putting in my aftermarket system, that includes Dynaudio drivers and Dynamat in the doors, into my new V6 Highline Wagon when I get it in a few weeks.
