Our Tiguan (2010) and GTI (2012) have the rns510. They both respond to voice commands. Both factory fitted equipment and I have done/added nothing since driving them out of the car yard. It has always worked.

I fitted that when I changed the RCD510 on my Beetle to an RNS 510 and found the push to talk didn't work
