Umbrella compartment discontinued?

Hi all,

This may have been covered before...sorry if so.

I have had a few Passats over the last few months as loan cars while my Tiguan is being fixed...long story.

I have had the older design, and love the Umbrella holder compartment in the door....Great idea!!!!

But I have noticed that this brand new model (only had 200kms on the clock) does not have this useful feature. Is this across the range, or have i got a model that doesnt have it?

I reckon this should be a standard feature on all good cars! Sure saves wetting or damaging the interior of a beautifaul car!

Some cars have it on a different door - maybe VW moved it?

ok...I will check the passenger side door.

Nope...not there....seems like it is not on this model? Strange hey??

Was it an option only thing?
