Michelin Pilot Sport 3 - great tyre, so good for around $220 a corner. Only time its stepped out is at 60kmh in the wet around a corner.

Michelin PS3s are my preference for noise and handling.

I have Michelin Pilot Sports 3 on the 125TDI and Continental Max Contact MC5 on the R36 - much prefer the Michelins and will be putting these on the R36 as soon as the Continentals wear out.

Originally had Pirelli PZero Neros on the 125TDI and they made a terrible noise (thudding sound at low speed - like a flat spot). I actually thought there was something mechanically wrong with the car and had it checked out a couple of times...

The PS3 is well known for an excellent combination of dry and wet performance with good wear

I have a pair of PS3's on the front of my Skoda Octavia (APR Stage 2 ~200kw)
They have 5.5mm of tread after 22,000km
They are likely to last ~52,000km down to 2mm of tread

Don't know how Potenza Adrenaline r002 compare, but I've found PS3 to be very quiet.

I had Conti SC 5P on mine and loved them. They are soft though and you will definitely wear them out before they go off.

Needed to replace two and was unable to source them in Melbourne, so instead got 4 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 and they're great as well. Dry performance is as good. Not quite as good as the 5P in the wet, but still pretty good.
