    turning the parking sensors on!

no Swallowtail i am not trying to inflame the previous thread, but I would like to know how to have the front parking sensors automatically come on when after you have been at normal road speed. I have to switch mine on for the front to work after the drive. They come on automatically after you have the car parked.

Its a pity they don't have the automatic strip lights like in the Touareg so you don't have to have the beeping

the passats only come on when reverse has been selected or the car started up. they will not come on when driving and then coming to a stop, we have tested this on a 4 passats all the same and this is how the system works, a touareg tho automatically comes on when you come close to another car at a junction etc. For this to happen in a passat you will have to press the button mate........VW...........

As if anyone even needs parking sensors! LOL!!! (*jokes* Swallowtail...)

apom the sensors in the .:R36 only come on automatically when reverse is selected. That's why there's a button to press for when parking etc and you haven't selected reverse, eg: into a garage. They will also only come on with the button under about 10kph (not 100% sure on the speed).

Yup, the other posters are correct. Have to manually put them on....

When I pull into my driveway and want to get close to the trailer I flick auto-hold off and parking sensors on...
