They are about AUD 65 delivered ex-USA. Set of 4 for ~AUD150.
Frequency is the same for B & C models - both 315Mhz - not sure what the other differences are.
Just recently purchased some new tyres since Bridgestone had a promotion of 4 for the price of 3 at Bridgestone tyre fitter. 3 tyres were successfully changed but one rim left bare after the value on the TPMS was damaged (questionably by them, but thats another story).
So looks like a new TPMS is required to be ordered. Got a quote from VW (1K0 907 255C), and the price was a hefty $320. Whilst the part number VW provided doesn't seem to match (1K0 907 225B - different frequency), I'd assume the price would be in the same ball park.
Has anyone tried to purchase a replacement valve from Ebay or second hand TPMS and had them installed and operating successfully?
Cheers

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums
or if its not really a hard requirement, just disable it
Sorry - misleading ebay listing lead me to believe they were 315Mhz.
Here's the listing I found but on closer inspection, depite searching for C revision it appears to be D revision.

forgive my ignorance in advance, what models have this TPMS ? I have 2008 R36 and I don't think I have it ?
Umy 08 has tyre pressure monitoring mate so yours would have to have it as well, unless they have been removed due to aftermarket wheels of course.

Thanks snerlo, I did change my wheels...
You will need 434 mHz versions if you want them working in AU. Been there, researched that. I did an install in some new rims which went onto my R36 wagon. They were still a pig to get working correctly.
