Towbar - Poor workmanship

The rear tailgate is definitely disabled but the rear sensors are not. To be honest I can't be bothered taking my car in just for that. I will wait until I have a list of issues (hopefully not).

Sorry to dig out an old thread.

I was scared to fit a towbar to our passat after seeing some of the horror installs from dealers.

Pleased to say if anyone in Sydney is looking to have it done, go to Paul Wakelings VW. Had mine installed today and the finished product is what should be the standard of all installs.

Another bump.

Anyone got the Hayman Reese class 4 bar on their wagon or Alltrack? The one with the 50mm square hitch receiver. I know they do one for the Passat. Just wondering if anyone got got one and if they have any clearance issues or otherwise.

I need it for my wife's Thule swing away bike carrier. It don't fit on a ball.
