    passat 2009 TDi 125 W sedan with dsg...102.000km odometar
Not specific issue but i am worrying about something which happened 2-3 times in 7 months..Still waiting 105.000km service..
Just, i had power loss ...let say 2.00 rpm on 40 km/h... Because of thiws, I wsas thinking if I had problem with injectors because this is very common issue with tdi engines...isn't?

Saint70, I just had a 105K service and there is an injector recall going at the moment to either replace them (if within a certain serial number range) and/or injector o-rings. So go get that service and ask about the recall. I have an excellent VW service centre looking after my Passat, and they are very honest with time to explain everything. My Passat didn't need any injector work given they were replaced at 60K in 2010.
When my injectors died the car lost all power with the coil warning lamp illuminated. It restarted, drove home, then died again that evening for good. The only other time the coil light showed was when my battery was on the way out on a country trip late last year, causing the car to hiccup with coil warning light a few times. Starting was also a little poor, but the battery replacement fixed it.
Report at 105K was a clean bill of health, should really be keeping the car but the lure of the Alltrack is too strong (bought on the weekend).

To the OP, check the 125kW PD injector failure threads in the Diesels section (a much better place to have posted this question since the issue isn't Passat specific). If yours engine is one of these, then it would probably just stop with no warning as WestOiler125 experienced. Sometimes, the car will restart once, other times it stays dead.

    Hi WestOiler125

Would you like to share the name of your repairer. My 125TDI is due for it's 15,000km service in a few months and would like to make sure it is given all the TLC it needs.

    PM me if you like.

    Thanks
