    Springs HR or Eibach

This has probably been discussed too many times.

I'm going to lower my Passat wagon next week and need to decide between H&R or Eibach. I'm not considering coilovers due to the harsher ride.

Anyone has experience with any of theses?

Talk to Gti Dave as he can get them in for you.
Great guy, can't reccomend him enough.
He has supplied H&R and Blistein products to lots of members here.

    His details are here:

I would go H&R purely because of their immense product presence in the market.

Haven't heard anything bad about eibach though.

I just purchased H&R's from GTI dave for our mk5 jetta, haven't been able to install them yet but after doing my research i read a lot of forums and more people preferred H&R.

hi, I've got the eibach pro kit installed on my WRX, very nice ride and not too low. Cant comment on H&R, but I would say eibach

coilovers dont comprimise ride quality unless you get cheap ones!!!

Infact I'll go as far to say that I'd prefer the ride of a quality coilover than a miss matched shock and spring combo!

do yourself favour and get some KW V1's or V2's. Don't muck around with springs

So where are the pics of your ride? Still keen to see them... Especially with those genuine Lambo wheels. Post some up! Go on - I'm sure everyone would love to see pics.

Plus it gives marckhor a chance to see the springs in a Passat...

Hi 111, how much lower did you R36 go from standard R36 height?
    Are you running 19" wheels?
