And since so many people seem to mis-interpret my posts, I added that bit so there was ZERO chance of it happening this time. I say what I say - even if it is wrong (which I never care about anyway). People don't have to like or agree with it but it'd be nice if they accepted it rather than treating it as a personal attack. After all, I accept what other people say, even if I don't always like or agree with it. They're entitled to their opinion - even if it is wrong!LOL
And if you missed the joke, I can't do anything about that!
Anyway, back to one of your points, example is quite flawed. There are any number of things that could have been done to avoid a crash resulting from those circumstances. And even with regard to the "component failure" argument regarding "crash or accident", the manufacturer of the part that failed could have taken action to avoid the resulting crash, or someone who inspected it and signed off on it, someone who signed off on the vehicle being roadwothy. As unfortunate and unlucky as all crashes are, they are never accidents. There is ALWAYS something that could have been done to prevent it.
[edit] and I will admit I missed the part about it being for Victoria only. Makes more sense now but there's still a lot of advice on that website that should be taken with a grain of salt.
