That would be annoying. Was it a very obvious glare? Seems odd for such an obvious problem to have not been addressed by now. A matt finish would be a simple fix.
I was admiring my car from all angles and noticed that the exhaust does not have a chrome tip...
Given the chrome trim it seems appropriate... dont you think?
The tail pipe is not round so a quick trip to Autobarn seems unlikely
BTW I found the "sun glare" factor the other day... The sun was in just the right point in the sky and it was reflecting off the chrome surround of the gear selector... Wonder how hard it would be to get it taken out and some how painted/recoated to get rid of the mega shine....

It IS annoying - trust me. A "glaring" oversight, if you excuse the pun !
In certain situations even the brushed metal areas tend to reflect directly into the driver's face.
Re exhaust pipe tip, don't you have a double tail pipe, richdave?

You could fit a chrome tip on easily. It doesn't cost you much to buy + fit
For the "Sun Glare"....simply close your sunroof and that should do you

Chrome tips would be nice and should be included on this level car.
I have had the glare factor quite a few times from the chrome surrounded gear selector. Not good!
I have also had the glare factor from the silver flat panel across the face of the dash, once. This panel should not be flat, but have a slight curve (top to bottom) to avoid the sun using it as a mirror when at the correct angle. If it were curved then it would not reflect as much of the sun.
These are minor irritations on what is an awesome car.
Chrome tips are a $100/30min excercise at any muffler joint.

Well, that's exactly what I did, except it cost me $220 for these beautifully made MagnaFlow stainless tips which look fantastic, IMO. These photos do not do it justice as they look much better in the flesh, but standing back a bit the tips match nicely with the round tail lights and look as though they should be there:
