maybe if you bothered to read the rest of the thread youd realise that i havent got around to lowering the front yet,
so if i lowered one inch like sooooo many other people on here that would make it more safe?
and if i wind the coils back up would my car all of a sudden become "safe"?

and relating to the all show, no go comment would it be safer if i left it at normal height and then hooked around local streets at 120km/h? even if i had go you can only go as fast as the posted speed limit.

Oh no! It's the spelling police! LOL!!!

And to answer your question... NO! It is MY OPINION that most people would never do that to their car and also think it looks reeeeeeeeediculous! I base that opinion on the fact that if it was wrong, most people would do the same reeeeeeeeediculous modifications.

The fact you have to ask those questions at all means I am certainly glad you're never likely to be on a road anywhere near me in a car modified so badly...

If you involve MOST people in your statement then it ceases to be YOUR opinion. It's purely an assumption based on a total lack of proof which is the province of people who feel the need to justify their own position by using the unknowing and usually unwilling general populace to back up their point. Which, in your case, is due to your overwhelming lack of substance and is not only meaningless but hillariously amusing.

LOL!!! You crack me up. If I was wrong, MOST people's cars would look as reeeeeeeeediculous as the one in the OP. But the fact they don't is proof enough tha I'm right about my "most people" comment.

Anyhow... I said I was moving on once but it's hard to ignore people when they clearly mis-interpret things I say or make false assumptions about what I think. Oh well. I certainly won't lose any sleep over it. Now, as I am apparently in need of substance, I think I'll go and cook something substantive for dinner.

Most people aren't modifiers, hence they don't lower their cars at all, unsubstantive. I'm sure you can do better than that, enjoy your meal.

Oh for god's sake people grow up.
Rocket, you were looking at VMR's. You have a 70, 000 car and want to go cheap on wheels? Get some hot wheels befitting of the car?
You are ripping this lout off for not getting PSS10s...
Its a 125 TDI passat, not a lotus elise. It's hardly sacriledge. And personal preference, he could have spent the money on a chip and DPF delete but thats not his thing.
It's not done/hasn't been done in Australia so therefore it is wrong.

At the end of the day, express oyur opinion as far as "I don't like it". Make mention of the legalities of it, but also swear at the same time you never check your phone while driving or speed.

Good on him for giving the hard slam a go, what if he went and got the lambo or bentley wheels and got the stance he wanted?? Would it still look like an XA falcon? I tihnk not...

Chill fellas, he's got the idea that people in Aus dont like this style on anything post mk4.

    Lets just watch with interest
