Skoda RS wheels on a 36?

    hi all, quick question
Ive found some Skoda RS wheels that look quite nice

Will they fit on my r36?

    18x7.5 et 51 and tyres are 225 40 18.

Am I going run into problems fitting and running with these?

I'll post up pics of wheels on the car.

But will there be any issues as they are Et51 as opposed to et44?? And the difference in tyre widths?

Tyres should be the same - 225/40r18 onthe Octy - the Passat is the same isn't it?

ET51 will be 6mm closer inwards but it won't be an issue. Everything interchanges on these cars.

the 6mm inwards shouldnt be an issue you should probably check that the inside doesn't rub on anything.

The issue is going from a 18x8 to a 18x7.5 and 225/40/18 vs 235/40/18 also the stock tyres are W rated. You are going to a thinner rim and tyre which is a bit backwards and possibly load rated lower so insurance implications (technically).

No rubbing, but the width of the wheel and tyres is what worried me. May give it a miss then. Pity as they look good.
