Simple B5 and B5.5 part compatibility

With the amount of information from the international sites you think I could get a straight answer to these questions but I can't. Or if there is something that is close with photos, those photos no longer exist.

Are the following parts directly interchangeable?:

Head lights
Tail lights
Front grill
Fuel door latch lock bit
Empty sacks of rice

The parts aren't directly interchangeable but can be made to fit. The taillight swap is pretty common and so is swapping with a complete B5.5 front end.

I'm looking at doing this to my front end. Audi RS bumper/grill goes straight on, just got to find one cheap.



B5.5 can be made to look good too.

Yeah, Ive seen a few of the whole audi swap front end. I do like it, but its outside my scope. I am keeping my eyes out for a badge less grill in general.

I ask about the tail lights and such because I have found some I like for the b5.5 Now I know I can make it fit.

Do a double check before you order the tailights. I know the tailights for a wagon are interchangeable. I'm trying to find the site that had instructions for the sedan.

Yeah, it seems that there is only concrete information for the wagon. Weird. Well, the way things are going with the exhaust I probably wont be able to get them anyway. I guess the only cosmetic change Ill make is remove badges, removed antenna and new wheels.

And you're right about it being weird, I can find more aftermarket rear lights for the wagon than for the sedan.

Heh, beyond the stock b5 look and the stock 5.5 look, the rest are for wagons.

Maybe I should just keep it stock, keep the stock wheels and do a pretend sleeper.
