The engine spin highlights in promo pics are hideous to say the least. All Aus delivered cars have the Satin finish which is much classier than the taccy engine spin finish.
Howdy,
I was looking at the interior of my R36 this morning, and in particular the satin chrome higlights in the instrument surrounds, along the dash etc.
I have looked on the net and in various VW pictures, and noticed that some of the cars have "engine spin" highlights where mine is satin chrome.
All the cars delivered in Australia (that I have seen) have this same detail, but I wonder whether this is another error in the build process (ie. like the reverse camera), and we should have different highlights.
TBH I like the current setup, and am not sure if the engine spin detail would be too over the top, but just a question?
Does anyone know the answer?

They cancelled the Engine Spin layout due to bad feedback at early motorshows.
