Showing the time on the media screen?

    Hi all,

New R36 owner. Picked it up last Friday. Absolutely brilliant car!

I would like to ask a couple of questions if I could.

    1) Is it possible to show the clock on the media player (mine doesn't have sat nav)? ATM, the clock is only on the multi function display.

    2) how Di I tell if my car is the MY10 or MY10.5?

    Thanks guys!

Not sure about RCD510, but on the RNS510 there is a setting in the setup menu to display the time.

As for MY10 v MY10.5, the MY10.5 have the new climate control with the set heater buttons in the middle of the temperature dials, the MY10 have the older 3 dial climate control, with scroll wheels for the seat heaters next to the digital temperature readouts.

Thanks Matthew! I can't see the option for time on my unit, so I assume it can't be set. Seems a bit silly why they don't have a clock functionality on the non sat nav units...

Thanks for the info anyway mate!

If its is the RCD510, you can't get the time on the screen But you can on the European models (saw it on you-tube). no idea why we can't on the Aus version.

I agree. Surely it is just a software issue that they can overwrite. But i might be wrong.
