"Secret Menu" for true speed, temp, current, volts etc in B7 (and Mk VI Golf)?

Hi all,

I have browsed all over the net (including VW forums like ours) with all combinations of search keywords, but cannot find any information on whether or not the B7 and Mk VI Golf vehicles have a secondary menu to bring up items such as true speed (km/hr and miles/hr), temperatures, voltage etc as the B6 has.

Has anybody any information about a "secret menu" as in the B6 where we can get this information without the need to interrogate the vehicle with VCDS/VAGCOM??

Or am I just being a dunce and need to re-learn how to use search engines??
