I don't know if you'll be able to find any seat covers that are compadible with your side airbags...
We grabbed our Silver 125KW Passat Sedan from a dealer a couple of weeks ago. We had sold my wifes car privately very quickly, and needed a new car 'desperately'. I'd been researching Passat's for a while, and rang our local dealer (local = 230kms away). They had two Passat's roll off the truck that week. Unfortunately they were both Standard (besides metallic paint), as I would have preferred leather, but could not wait.
Does anyone know where you can get car seat cover for the current model Passat? I would prefer wool, but anything to help protect the seats would be good.

I got sheepskin seat covers (front seats only) for my MY07 Passat from Sheepskin Leather Factory in Fyshwick ACT [phone 02 6280 9664]. Made in their factory in Wollongong NSW.
The back of each cover does not have sides, leaving the airbags clear to deploy.

I had been to Autobarn, and the guy came outside to look at the seats (and car). He actually said "What do you think the AIRBAG tag on the seat is for?" I would have liked to have replied that the airbags inflated to allow a soft landing after you pressed the seat eject button.

Don't buy it then....it looks cool with the black cloth. Sheepskin doesnt look good on our cars. You would just make the seats look like an S if you put them on IMO.![]()

Invest in a quality interior treatment (similar to scotchguard). I am getting leather and am still getting interior protection, exterior paint protection and tint with MING (the only one local and very happy with the long term result on my current car). Quoted $395 for each service or $1095 the lot.
