I just bought this car 2nd hand. Does it now learn my style? or does it still have leftover memory of previous driver?

Excellent point Jaciman, I've also purchased my car second hand so I'd be interests in understanding the learning process the mechatronics unit goes through.

I was wondering if anyone could also tell me a definitive way that I can check to make sure my mechatronics unit has actually been replaced, as we are STILL experiencing problems with the car.

I am wondering if Barloworld did anything but reset the learnt settings.

I'd be interested too, since my mechatronics unit was replaced about 12 months ago. In the last 2-3 months the gearbox has gone as rough as guts again, including a few things it never did before, like rough shifting and clunking when stopping.

Will see what's said when the 60,000km service is done in about 10 days.
