Hey guys i have noticed that I have loud grinding sound coming from back car when brake but also when drive sometimes. I think I need new brakes but what about rotors can they be machined and anyone know anyone in Adelaide that does.

I wouldn't recommend machining the OEM rotors.
They're made of a much softer metal, and machining a lip or run-out out of them shortens their life-span dramatically.

I was told my VW that its not possible when mine were almost due. I upgraded to DBA slotted rotors all around and it was probably not far off the OEM pricing. I got mine from Brakes Direct - Australia's Experts in Automotive Braking Components! which offers free shipping and are pretty good.
