RNS 510 Unit wont turn on!!!

Hey guys... hoping one of you may shed some light on why my RNS 510 unit wont turn on no more

Bought an R36 around 6 months ago and its still got a tonne of warranty left on it but before I call them tomorrow was wondering if any of you guys have come across this before?

The unit simply wont turn on. Turned off the car tonight and was working fine, got back in it after dinner and noticed the screen didnt turn on startup with the display or anything. Tried to manually turn it on by pressing the left knob, held it down etc... nothing...

Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary before I turned it off and cant see anything out of the ordinary now, except the flapping thing wont come on. Radio, media etc wont play and tried finding something in the book under trouble shooting or something but found jack.

Is there some form of automatic shut down or anything similar that may have forced the unit off that I need to re-enable or has the unit already shat itself??

Please help... lol

Hare you tried rebooting? (setup + eject +info). Worked for me when it locked up uploading music.

thanks for your reply mate...

nfi what was going on with it last night but this morning it turned on fine

was thinking maybe something to do with the key connection or something along those lines but honestly dont know why it wouldnt turn on... if it happens again ill be going straight to the dealership
