Yep, upgrade the software and the plan view showing the sensors comes up in that empty box on the left hand panel in this image. No need then to switch between views. I did it to mine, much better

I take it you mean the firmware of the RNS510? Do you know if all this is gonna work on the RCD510?

That sounds like the way to go. Is the upgrade something easy to do?

that would be it! Not sure if this is the same procedure on the RCD510. Send a PM to Swallowtail, he is the master of these units in knowing all the ins and outs! (He upgraded mine for me!)

    Hi Murray,

I had all of mine done by an installer on Melb so am unsure of where he sourced the parts, etc.. I'm pretty sure though that the boot handle is different in the sedan to the wagon. Sorry I couldn't help you out.

    hi!

I enabled via VAGCOM for a mate here:

YouTube - Passat CC Reverse Camera Emblem RNS510

Although the video is showing a Passat CC with the original VW emblem RVC, I've also tested successfully on a setup similar to adrock

    Hey hannson,

I'm loving how the OPS displays on the left hand side when the camera is engaged. I'm definitely going to see about getting that happening somehow. I noticed though that it also has the guidance lines. I'm assuming that CC actually came with the RVC as factory as I didn't think you could get those displaying aftermarket unless you spend some big $$?
