    Rev Limiter

    Hey all just wanted to know when my car is in park and i rev it it only revs to certain revs (so rev limiter) wanted to know how to get rid of it.

    out of curiosity why do you want to rev it when its in park ?

    I had the same thing on my 300C. In Park it would only rev to 4000rpm in order to "protect" the tramsmission.
    VW probably do the same thing.

    The reason why is cause got exhaust on it lol cat back system

    The ECU is just smarter than you. It knows there is no good reason to rev the ***** out of the engine in a stationary car
    2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten).

    if its in neutral it still wont rev high ?
