have you guys experienced a low resale value since the Media reported faults with the DSG and its engines as a result of the car accident that killed a woman. Now i know the story, the accident was not due to any fault with the car it was simply an accident however im finding regardless of what the reasons were the damage has already been done.
Im selling my car now and trade ins are rediculous and private sales are not any better, and all messages i get through email or sms are crazy...all about the problems VW have and trying to reduce my price and hardly any enquires about the car. They go straight to the negatives based on what they have heard on the Media.
its very frustrating, because i found it to be a one of the best cars i have owned so far so i have nothing but praise but its hard to pass that on to buyers.
if you have sold your passat recently i would be keen to know what you have experienced, although the R36 is different all together.
im talking more about your bread and butter passats TSI TDI etc..
Hey there. Just to correct something you heard...the woman was actually driving a manual car. Not a DSG.
