    Rear Spoiler on R36 wagon

Hi all has any one elso had an body kit come loose on your car.
I have a black R36 wagon an on extremly hot days teh rear spoiler lifts off the roof.

I have it booked in to be replaced but wanted to know if any other body kits or internal reatures were causing any greif.

I have had previous experiences with other model VW ( Bora and Toureg) and have had similar experirnces.

by the way... love this 36 it is awsome..

    Cheers

    Welcome to the forum.

I must admit that I dont park the car outside often (work/home are undercover), but that seems like a bit of a worry TBH.

I do think that the aircon is not as good as some japanese and aussie units, which I notice when I do park outside (even with 15% tints).

Maybe the cars are built with the Euro market in mind, and as such they just dont think of the extreme heat we get here in Oz?

Will be interesting to see if anyone else has experienced the same issues you note above.
Confirmed Global Warming Sceptic. No Longer a VW Owner -Loving my new 2011 Range Rover Sport - bought as VW unable to provide info on the new Toureg despite it being released overseas 12 mths ago. 2008 R36 Wagon, 2006 GTI and 2004 R32 - Gone. Sorry VW, you make great cars but until you improve your customers' experiences you will lose customers

So you now have a Audi TT RS like rear spoiler that moves when your at high speeds......Cool.....hehheeheh......

J/Kidding! That's not funny and on a serious note, I'd be having a red hot go at the dealer to fix the issue immediately!

Don't have a wagon but I hope they fix it for you very soon with no hassles!

Thanks Guys: Its not a major issue just lift about 3-4 mm in the center but not keen on a peice of flying debris. Will let you know what dealer says/does.
