Read this if you are in the market for an R36!

I have on order an R36 (ordered in September) but due to financial difficulties I am no longer in a position to afford the car.
So I am wanting to hear from anyone who is in the market an R36 but instead of waiting 5-6 months, delivery will be in Jan09.
I would rather transfer the contract to someone who is in the market, rather than buy it and then sell it as a second hand car and make a huge loss

    Details

    Biscay Blue Wagon
    - Auto Tailgate
    - Sunroof
    - Bluetooth

Please PM me if you are interested....

    Many Thanks

    Gipper

How much is your deposit? Pull out of the deal and be only that amount out of pocket, you don't have to buy it and sell it used. Sheesh. I bought our VW on no deposit!

    Gipper,

Sorry to hear that mate!! I know how keen you were in getting this car.
FYI: When i put my order down for my .:R36 with a $1000 deposit, my dealer said it was ok for me to walk away from it (due to the approx 5-6 month wait) and get my deposit back. Can't hurt to ask (if you already haven't) as i know they won't have any issues trying to sell it. Ask them, 'tis the season ...isn't it???

If there is no deposit or you're just trying to help out fellow members..good on you.

    Cheers,

    Jayse.
    p.s. Merry Christmas everyone!!

    Hey Jayse

There is a deposit but when you sign a contract then it is very difficult to get out of it. I suppose I am trying to find a way to get my deposit back and find a situation that is best for me, the dealer and hopefully someone on this forum. They are supposed to get back to me with their offer of what they are going to do.

Hopefully I will still get an R36 down the track but with the economic climate the way it is, things have changed a bit.

    Thanks again guys.
Hopefully it will work out really well for someone on here

    Best of luck.

All contracts have loop holes so I would now start exploring them.

Sorry to hear you have had hard times, surely you are disappointed.

    Yeah, definitely dissapointed.

The dealer will try their best to sell teh car to a potential customer and I am trying my best to find a buyer who only wants to wait 3 weeks for their car.

I dont want to screw the dealer as they have been good about it, and I know if I could afford it I wouldnt want to wait 5 months again.
So hopefully I can help someone out with an awesome car quickly as well as not leave the dealer in the lurch.

    Gipper,

How did it go? I'm looking at getting the wagon and would like to avoid the 4-5 month wait if I can help it. The missus isn't overly excited about the blue (she prefers grey, black or silver) but if all else fails we may have to go with a blue anyway (I like the blue myself).
