My R36 came with one. It wasn't there at the time of delivery so the salesman just gave me one out of a CC he had on the lot. Fits perfectly but I don't know about the part number.
Hi All,
Does anyone with a Passat Sedan (new shape) have the Safety Warning Triangle installed in the boot lid recess?
I went to get this today, however the dealer just sold me a "universal" triangle and it is far too long to fit within the parameters of the recess in the boot lid. The space available is 430mm x 100mm.
I think the part number should be 1Y0093055 or 4B5 860 251C can anyone confirm these?
The dealer sold me 000093055K.

Yeah I have a sedan. Yeah it's in the recess in the boot lid.
Should these come standard? Mine didn't have it on delivery...

My R36 didnt come with a triangle either its got a nice hole where it should sit.
Mine didn't come with one. But when I complained that it was "missing" the sales guy took one from a 3.6 CC in the showroom.
lol
Maybe I got something I shouldn't have.
Just went and checked. There's a few numbers on it...
Next to a VW logo it's got: 3C5 860 251
Underneath "TRIMEC CD" it's got: E13 inside a circle and then R 030024
I didn't get one in my wagon either - or a first aid kit. Can get both OEM from www.oempl.us
btw Don't bother with the VW Australia first aid kit - it is a very ordinary piece of kit. I bought that originally - a real joke - a couple of bandaids, a tube of antiseptic cream and not a lot more. The OEM kit is much better, with lots of bandages and things.
Looks like the triangle from my old A4 wagon might fit... must try it over weekend
