    RCD-510 + 32 GB sd card..

    hey,

    I have weird problem with my RCD-510... I do not if this common so, i want to ask you guys..
    If I transfer 200 or more mp3 songs to my sd card rcd-510 can play (and see) only around 150......
    How to fix this issue..?

    There are limitations to how deep the folder structure can be. Details are in the manual. Can't remember off my head.

    Another thing to check is if your card is genuinely 32gb. There are heaps of counterfeit cards that are marked as 32gb and appear to your computer as 32gb but are in actuality 4gb cards. Check Google for details. I bought one once. Easy to test.

    I am using Kingston ultimate X 32 gb.. Yes, this is original. regarding limitation, RCD-510 should see at least 2 GB...

    I have 18 gig of music on a card, About 4000 MP3's and my RNS will play them either off the card or the HDD
    You should copy TRACKS only NOT ALBUMS to the root directory of the card and it will then see all of them.
    My card is an ALDI BAUM and it works OK

    Try separating songs into different folders - there's a limit as to how many tracks per folder can be displayed (unit would be too slow otherwise).

    yes, I did that before...yes, unit will be really slow.
    I jkust trying NTFS partition instead FAT...and also, i am going to copy only tracks..

    Any progress on this? I'm about to buy a Passat with the RCD 510 and no MDI, so keen to see if the SD card slot can take more than 2GB to replace the iPod interface...
