Rattles

Just got myself an 07 Passat Diesel...optioned with Sat Nav & Leather....Just Love It!!!! I have noticed a rather disturbing rattling sond that eminates from the centre console and an electronic buzz eminating from the passenger side. Both noises are intermittant. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Have you asked the dealers to have a look under warranty ?

I have involved the dealer but because the noises are intermittant they never seem to be apparent when I have taken the car in.....it is so frustrating. They have agreed to give it the once over at the first service.

Hi there P4SS4T. Is this electronic buzz coming through the door speaker from distortion of the speaker itself. My GTI has developed the same problem after only 3000k;s of driving and it is being replaced under warranty. You dont even have to turn it up loud for it to distort. Very annoying and its probably my one gripe with the car i have.

Our Passat has so many dash creaks, it's unbearable. We also have both B-pillars "clicking" as the car flexes. The interior of this car is a huge disappointment!
