    R36 Wheels...again

I know there have been a few threads re the R36 wheels but I didn't want to steal someone else's thread.

I've been searching for a wheel for the R36 but wanted something a little different from the usual Audi style wheels (although they look good)
I've seen a few wheels I like and while they look good by the time I find an actual pic in our offsets they look awful .

Check out the following link which shows the wheel in the correct size and offset on the front of this Lexus. The R36 will apparently take the staggered fitment same as on this car.

    What do you think?

MMR HR2's are seriously good looking wheels.
Curvy and classy, but also have a bit of sports in their look.

    Would definitely suit a R36.

Might want to check ont eh staggered fitment though as I am not sure how much room you will have in the wheel arch.

    Awesome choice of wheel though.
Would definitely go for that set.

Personally they're a bit to "plain" or "sedate" looking. But I like an agressive styled wheel.

Nope, not my thing either but wheels are a very individual thing so who cares what anyone else thinks. If you like them, buy them !

What do you guys suggest then?
I like the VMR wheels too but they seem a bit common plus I thought the R36 needed an agressive ,chunky style of wheel.

    The MMR's are nice.
Common ?? Definitely not in australia. I don't think that anyone in australia has them on a mkv let alone an R36?

They are certainly not RS4 wheels....!

They would look good, good pricing, a nice drop would enhance it a great deal.

    They aren't that common.
I have only seen 1 .:R36 with VMR wheels on these forums.

Having said that, I haven't seen any MRR shoes on a VW at all here.

    OK
Here are some pics of them on our "family" of cars

If you kerbed the wheel against a high curb it could get nasty with the way the spokes sit out though

I think they look terrific as I don't like fussy looking wheels. The added bonus is that they are easy to keep clean as there is plenty of room between the spokes so as you can get in behind them to clean away the brake dust!
