Hey John,
My colleague drives an R36 and have called him this morning regarding getting a chip.
Just so you know his car is stock standard, never had a thing done to it and he knows nothing about tuning as far as I know, so you will need to explain to him the basics.
I gave him your number he said he will give you a call this afternoon. Name's Steve.

Hi all
I've just had my Passat 3.2 re flashed using the loan equipment and can vouch for it. On the 3.2 it has made definite improvement. Acceleration is cleaner and smoother through the rev range especially low down with the flat spot at about 2000-2500 having disappeared. Fuel use is slightly down as well which is a bit of a bonus. All in all not a masive increase as expected for a NA car but very noticeable. Well worth the money.

Would be interested to see some proof of gains, i.e. single session dyno (run/flash/run). Sounds like an interesting proposal though.
John had a go at my car yesterday and I'd like to add my thumbs up for his professionalism. Everything happened efficiently and with a minimum of fuss. He's logged the data from my car and has flagged that he may like to load a revision once the data has been analysed.
Initial impressions via the butt dyno are a better top end and it's a little smoother at idle. You do notice the extra torque in the mid range but low down, it feels pretty much the same.
Cruising economy on a 200km run today was about 9.3L/100 via MFD and it seems to be much the same around town, but these are early days.
I'll update the thread with any further observations in a few weeks.
