For sh*ts n giggles I asked for a drive away change over price with my Dec08 build MY09 spec blue sedan with tint/satnav/roof and 11,600 odd kms on the white wagon. They're getting back to me tomorrow.

Nope... But I live right near there! It's one of my local hang outs for indoor cricket, squash, trivia nights and drinking! Know the guys and a mate of mine also works the bar.

I did see a black R36 sedan head past though towards Kaleen while I was helping at a crash at the intersection near the Nth Lyneham shops at the time. Silly P plater chick was on the phone and t-boned someone! She turned across as they were going through instead of giving way.

This happened to me last year.... I was t-boned by a girl who had her licence 3 weeks. She went straight through a stop sign whilst looking down at her phone.

I saw it coming and the best I could do was accelerate so she didn't get me in the drivers door. Her Toyota Cressida hit my 4WD in the back wheel at over 60kph with enough force to roll me in one direction, then after I hit a pole was rolled back the other way a full 306 degrees in the air and landed (luckily) on the tyres with that much force it burst 3 out of the 4 tyres on impact.

Believe or not, I walked (actually staggered and fell) away. The only injury was a serious case of whiplash and the car was written off. Normally I would have been in my wifes Honda Jazz but on this day I took the 4WD for a change. The ambulance driver that took me to hospital said if I was in the Honda I would not have been anywhere as lucky my situation likely to have been somewhat different.

After all this, the P Plater tried to blame it on a tree in the way of the stop and took it to court. Her laughable case was thrown out and she lost her licence

    Off topic..

I had a similar one in 2002.. I was turning right across Burwood Hwy into Knox City shopping centre with a green arrow, and saw a red Sigma coming towards me.. after thinking first that it wasn't slowing down, then wondering how she could have a green light when I had a green arrow, I planted it and got out of there, just in time to hear the bang.. wondering if the rear of my car had been tapped (although I hadn't felt anything), I stopped to see the green Laser behind me had been t-boned on the front quarter panel.

The Sigma driver initially said that she'd been distracted (but not by what), she'd looked at the lights, and they'd changed directly from green to red as she approached them, and that her parents were going to kill her for crashign the car... I gave my details as a witness anyway (besides, the girl driving the Laser was better looking than the girl from the Sigma).

A few weeks later I had a call from the insurers of the Laser saying that the Sigma driver claimed that we must have all driven through a red arrow - I replied no, filled out a declaration for them, including drawings, and returned it..

About a year later, I had another call from the insurers... this time saying that the Sigma driver was claiming that myself, the Laser and the car behind the Laser were all mates who knew each other......

I drove through there at that time in my Icelandic Grey sedan. A number of police there eyeing off my number-plateles car as I drove through (toward Kaleen)
