Haha don't apologise mate, it's not your fault, how could you know! What a thing, hey! All good though, I will just get some small T10 bulbs.

also, FYI, for the wing mirror puddle light, you can use non-CANbus error free T10 W5W bulbs on MY10 R36. easy and cheap mods as well.
for interior lighting, I actually like the factory yellow lights, they are warmer and suit my liking.

Agreed! I have those proper panel LED's en route for the wing mirror puddles, they should fit no worries as I don't think there has been a silly revision for those. I have no desire to change the interior lighting.

My bend/cornering lighting though, I had some big 120SMD LED ones which work great when they first turn on, but then when the car tries to fade them out, it then throws the error and they won't come on again until you reset ignition. What did you guys do for these? Also not sure what to do for reverse/fog as LED's are probably insufficiently bright for these.

I haven't changed the cornering light or the reverse or the fog lights yet. I'm not going to touch the reversing or fog lights I don't think, but the corner lights are something that I will get around to one day!!

Hi, can you share links for these T10 error free LEDs/Lamps?

I was thinking, it's a shame there isn't a comprehensive list of MY version changes, I guess the list is long and difficult to build a comparative table for.

BTW, I've been trying to assemble a eBay Collection for the R36: Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More | eBay

The reverse is frustratingly dim given there's only one, but I'm not sure how much better you could do. The cornering lights are fine but it's annoying when you've got beautiful white front light and then you go to turn a corner and a big patch of yellow pops up. I think given that the car insists on having a fade effect that will not work with LED, perhaps Philips BlueVision might be the go there.

Would you be able to use one of these CREE bulbs (CREE 1156 BA15S P21W) instead to boost your reversing light brightness?

Another potential alternative 1156 CREE globe

    And of course DX.com: 1156 BA15S - Free Shipping - DX

Getting the right colour tempurature is tricky.. so many are 6500K or even 7000K... If there were some better 5000K options, it would be ideal.

Turned out fine on the license plate lights. My parker wedges arrived, turns out for my model (But not snerlo's) they are a direct fit in either location, and actually look perfect! Couldn't be happier with the output. Shame I wasted money on these modules but it's nobody's fault!
