It was Cannonball Run and the car was a Lambo Countach with 2 hot chicks driving it.

If only we had this sort of product support in Australia.

I aksed about clear PPF wrapping for my new car and half of the companies didn't even know what that car was and only order in precut sheets from America.
I have had company cars fully wrapped in Brisbane and the Gold Coast so similar products available (with similar claims). You MUST find a good supplier and fitter though - otherwise you will regret the day you thought about it. To give you an idea on price, a Ford Territory cost around $5K with supply and fit (we did the artwork).

The above example, looks great, but not something i would go to the expense and trouble to do BUT each to their own and very creative example of customising your car.

I saw a vinyl wrapped Smart car a few years back at FF and R Jamoboree advertising Northfield, the workmanship was appalling.
There's also a Blue R36 wagon floating around Briz with vinyl wrap all over it, makes me cringe every time I see it.

You will NEVER get a nice deep shine ever again.

Not only that, but all the black to can see around the edges (especially the boot) looks crap! Buy a white one and have the roof resprayed black.

Certainly not something I would ever get done and certainly doesn't look good. It can't be inspired by the new M3 as the new M3 is PAINTED with CARBON FIBRE bonnet and roof. Not a square mm of vinyl to be seen.

hehe - each to their own. If we all liked the same thing, it would be a very boring world

I left all the door shuts black on purpose too Personally I think the contrasts really set it off, and everybody who has seen it in the flesh is blown away by the quality of RGVA's wrap and the looks of the car. 99% of people hadn't noticed its wrapped until being told.
