    R36 Sprint Booster

I tried out the following throttle amplifier before I bought it.
Freepower Sdrive SP9 Advance electronic throttle controller Sales, Buy Freepower Sdrive SP9 Advance electronic throttle controller Products from alibaba.com AU

I found it worked quite well but also discovered that on a constant cruise it caused my engine to surge (even on the lowest setting).
As a result I had them remove it as it was quite a nasty side effect .

My question is to anyone who has the Sprint Booster fitted to their R36 if they've experienced this problem.
I suspect not as although the Sprint Booster has less adjustability it may be better calibrated/sorted

Well the SB doesn't have an ECO setting, just normal, Sport, and Race. My drivetrain is different but I've had no issues. Can easily drive in slow traffic or carparks in race mode, the pedal is more like a pressure switch.

I installed sprint booster on my R36 wagon few months back and been extremly happy with it and was suggest over ECU remap which was cheaper option and quicker throttle response than any ECU remap can give. Easy to install and remove.

I bought mine through Rampspeed in Sydney. RamSpeed ? Automotive Perfection

It has 3 modes no light = off, green light = road 25% increase & red light = race 50% increase

The only thing i find that due to ECU being tricked, it seems on green or red mode very slight jerk in the drive as to be sensitive trying to read your pedal whether you are increase throttle or not but excellent when doing track.

    Hope this helps.

pulled the trigger on a sprint booster yesterday, baught for AUD$245 (inc shipping) from somewhere in germany through ebay. man the euro is worth nothing these days! (ebay item no 261066550396)

fingers crossed it arrives soon and works well, i would expect 3 weeks or so.
have had one on my previous car (merc clk500) and it worked well.
