    R36 Paddleshift Extensions

Installed some paddleshift extenders this morning. I've held off on doing this as they can look tacky - these are well built and suit the OEM brushed Aluminium look (also found it annoying trying to find the small factory shifters sometimes):

(a little off-topic..) Also added some carbon fiber to the custom subwooffa box and removed it from the mold - (my boot is now back to normal!):

BTW - the carbon fiber on this part of the enclosure is for strength and doesn't have to look pretty.. only the top layer/sheet will be visible.

Thanks for the writeup. How are they after a few weeks? Do they feel solid and not like they're going to fall off?

They're still on there solid and I have no desire to remove them (it's still just tape, so not perfect).

I've found myself using them a lot more now - they make me drive bad.

Ideally, I'd epoxy them in place if I had a spare pair of OEM shifters I was happy to destroy (and was comfortable pulling them in/out).
