get the rosstech one.. very handy for more than just fault codes.
Just tried on mine and it's a no go...
In VCDS go to Control Modules > Instruments > Adaptation > Staging
Mine said 'Channel not available' :(
White mfd my2010 still no go.
Read you have to be 2011+

I got staging by replacng the white mfd with premium colour mfd. i do have a colour mfd that suits v6 for sale that will most likely do staging :). my12 and lower cars only or m13 without driver vis.
