if it helps, ordered mine 06/06/08 and got it on 28/11/08 so sounds like your eta sounds about right.

I'm assured R36 will keep it's current steering wheel & HVAC, not a la Passat CC (though non-R36's may get the new wheel).

    So... MY09 owners rest assured
I have researched / been told that the R36 MY2010 will in fact have ZERO changes to the MY09 spec for Australia which is also what has been spec'd for the UK 2010 R36 - ie no changes at all - no extra - no self sealing tyres - nothing different. Other passat my 2010 models will however have extras / differences. R36 and Bluemotion to stay unchanged.

Thanks for your info Ozr36. Would have placed our order around the same time so hopefully our vehicle has made the same build run. September was roughly when we were initially advised for delivery, pending further confirmation. Cheers.

Radius and Ozr36 get the VIN numbers from your dealer and track it via the shipping company out of Germany. link somewhere in the forum....I ordered a V6Highline w1 in April and has left the port July 14th due to me week 1 september. You can follow its journey around the world - very cool.

R36 Ordered June - Arrives November

Hi there. I ordered a Biscay Blue with Sunroof and Sat Nav on June 6th. I was told November delivery.

I was told that it depended on what dates the run in the factory was, options chosen and after that shipping dates. The salesman looked up dates on the computer.

I could have got a white one without Sat Nav almost straight away. I would have grabbed it, but I really wanted the factory fitted Sat Nav.

Now the wait. I'm like a child waiting for Xmas and can't stand it and sooo much longer to go.

Steve, if the satnav was the only thing the white didnt have then it's a no brainer...all it is is swapping the head unit over for a satnav unit as all of the other stuff is already there (e.g. antenna, ECU software, etc). I know that a dealer in Melb did it for someone a couple of months ago.

    good luck.

Hahaha! DAMN! I wanted a white one first but would have had to order one so settled for Biscay Blue (which I also like) with SatNav. Ironically, had I ordered, I would not have ordered with SatNav. Still, I couldn't be happier. Delivery time: 4 days!

The dealer said that I'm better off getting it factory fitted because of rattles, etc. In any case, my10 instead of my09 might mean a couple of grand difference when I sell it in the future
