yep, tough call, the button style with the metal piping is a dead match. Also looks the the CC doors with the brushed metal piece. Firstly it breaks the door from being all one colour and secondly they make the driver and passenger doors match unlike the current passat / R36

If you look at the passat the door handle on the drivers door is different from the passengers door. On the CC they are identical (actually mirrored) so they match) It was done in the past to allow the window controls but they have managed it in the CC. Only reason I know is they gave me a CC for the 4 days my car was in getting towbar etc etc

But the CC is a different shape door. That's a pic of a LHD Passat. Show me a pic with the same door trim on the driver's side...

lol i know what you're talking about... but it would be the inside door trim that's a different shape between the cc and passat / R36. They're different doors! which = different trims. That's all im getting at. But show me a passat / R36 driver's side with the same trim as the CC and I'll be happy

maybe im not explaining what i mean right. oh well, heading out. time to drink eat and be merry!

No man... you can't just leave it there. I want this totally ironed out because it's going to drive me crazy otherwise. Just kidding

Speaking of merry.... David Jones and Myer have the Christmas stuff out in September... that's early no? I was thinking my car might have been becoming a Christmas present....

    ok, simple explaination

Passat normal (inc R36) = drivers door grab handle is different from the passenger door (have a look if you don't believe me)

Passat CC = drivers door handles and passengers are a prefect match

    get it now?
