R36 MY10.5 better fuel consumption than older models?

Is the fuel consumption of the MY10.5 Upgrade R36's better than the previous years (2008 - 2010)?

I noticed on carsales.com.au and redbook.com.au that the upgrade model has different consumption and emission figures, in particular 10.7L/100 vs 10L/100.

What has changed to cause this? Or is it perhaps just dodgy data or different test conditions?

Dodgy data. My MY09 is really impressing me with fuel economy - averages around 9.6L/100km and that is stop start Adelaide driving with the odd squirt.

Come to Melbourne and you will turn that into inner city stop start 15L/100km without too much effort at all!

Ouch. I have noticed that if traffic builds up it begins to increase pretty quickly. Still better than my mates M5 at over 30L/100km!

Managed to achieve a tad over 40L/100km on my previous Audi A3 on my 3km crawl to work in Melbourne...

I'm actually finding the R36 is more efficient at highway driving than the A3 2.0T Quattro

I'm getting a consistent 10.9 overall average (combo of wife and I driving In traffic, school run and general) or average trip of 9 when I do my run to work.
