I really like the way they look on the r32.
I am pretty young though...maybe it's a younger generations kinda thing. The older people seem to not like them. which is definatley fair enough. But then again i love the e2 maloo my uncle has.

I think you are spot on.. from my mind you are only one step away from a set of chromies and a underbody tint lighting kit

Its the one thing I hate on the Audi R8. IMHO it doesn't need the chintz factor to say "look at me"

Lol it's one of my favourite atteibutes to the audi r8. But yet again. Thats just my opinion. Is it expensive to do?
Might do it to mine in a year or two when i do the led retroffited tailights when they come to aus.

Sounds like the "old bull ...young bull" story

    Haha does too.
Just for the record I'm not into major shiny rims, neons and stupidly loud exhausts. I'mquite conservative in this matter for my age...but I still love the led's.

I don't mind the led's on any Audi. The S6 lights also look pretty good on the R32's, i'm just too lazy to do it but prefer the smaller ones inside the headlights.

It certainly gets your attention if someone has them a few cars back in the traffic but I don't see the point once everyone has them in a few years.

Saw a black R8 with them on and looks pretty evil.

Haha i'm with you...to lazy to bother.
They do look good but i can't see it being worth the few hundred they cost.
I really want to save up to retrofit the led's that will be on the new R. Looks so good imo.

I agree, the Golf R ones look good, and aren't as in your face - just subtle like those small Merc ones. Would prefer to retro fit those instead of the Audi S6 lights.

The rear LED's will be good:

Here's a couple of pics after replacing the parkers with LED resistor bulbs...

Way simpler than retro fitting LED strip light DRLs.
