Of course 100w globes will beat the xenons, the difference is that the xenons are legal. I'm suprised that you didn't get done, cause an accident or yellow out your reflectors due to the exess heat....
Back on topic, the xenons are better for low&high beam than any halogen standard setup I have driven (including the Ba/bf falcons which have fantastic output). They are not the best xenons I have seen but I also didn't spend 150k+ on the car.
Comming from the light output i was used to in my old ba falcon which had 6x 55w+ 50% and 2x 100w lightforce spotties when on highbeam I wish the xenons had about 200m more reach. Good compromise though, no more need for ugly bars and lights on the front of such a nice car.

OK my bad, what I meant to say was that I put 55/100w bulbs in the outer (main lights) so when on high beam it had 4 x 100W lights, on low beam it was still the 55W as per standard, I was not for a moment talking about low beam performance, just high beam.
Seems there is a lot of people that want to jump on others for doing something "illegal, wrong, stupid" etc????
As far as I know you cannot buy 100W low beam globes for exactly that reason, maybe if some of you had thought for a moment you may have realised this?

Maybe because a lot of people are sick of being blinded on the road.
You can purchase them off the shelf the auto stores. As far as I know you cannot buy 100W low beam globes for exactly that reason, maybe if some of you had thought for a moment you may have realised this?
Seeing as you're talking about high beam performance you can assist the bi-xenons by Vagcoming the high beam halogens to operate when you have high beams on.
