CCP are the place to go. Always good, informed service. They used to give a discount to VWwc members - not sure if that's still the case.

Levendi - where can I find out how to use Iron-X. I've got a bottle at home & don't quite know what the best usage is.

I used a non stick pot scourer pad and turpentine on my R36 exhaust tips worked a treat and no scratching!

    thx levendi

Shakespeare. I think our idea of no scratches might be different to others. Pot scourer pad & turps (or kero) would work for me too

Got my R36 Detailed the other weekend. Turned out amazing!!! And the biggest shock was how easy the tailpipes where to clean.

ive found that just a simple non stick scotchbrite pad & maguires car wash does the job pretty well.

Maybe if that doesnt work to your liking try it with some fine stainless steel polish like the type you get from dept stores for high end stainless steel pots & pans. I think esteele make a powder that you mix with water that is great for stainless kitchen wear that should work
