Looks like the guy in Canberra sold his VCDS cable so I might have to wait a bit longer to get this fixed..

Might just take it over to my local VW dealer to see if they can check the code.
So the previous owner is paying for a cracked reflector to be fixed and I've just rang in and made the booking and they've advised it's scheduled in for a reflector and horn assembly.

Any idea if the Horn assembly would address the paddle issue?

If you're talking about horn assembly in the steering wheel then maybe there's something to it.

    Good news,

Dropped it at my mechanic this morning (Craig hall mechanical in Phillip) and they took it down the road to AutoTorque who hooked it up to their computer and enabled the paddles.

Will find out why they want to change the horn assembly next week, all seems to work fine.

    Cheers for the help guys.

Except that I asked them to give the car a bit of a squirt so I could hear it and now I know how quiet they are from outside so ice started looking at exhausts lol

Beware of the modding bug - once you start it's a slippery slope....

Fine line between a few tasteful mods and a pimp mobile.

Haha, I got that out of my system with my VIP Celsior. Definitely don't want to go down that path again. I'll probably leave the exhaust anyway, love the sleeper idea.
