    R36 DRL's

    Very nice mate!
May I ask where did you get your led parkers from. They seem pretty bright.

They're not overpowering but they match the colour of the xenons nicely. Have a look for a thread i started just recently about it. The ones that you see here are my second purchase so have a read of the install and you'll get the idea. Also done the puddle lights and rear number plate although the plate ones are a little too bright for my comfort. Gonna look at a resistor or something to try and dull them down. Really easy and cheap mods to do. They're all in separate threads i started. Looking into the interior ones now when i get my allowance up!

I've got led parkers but not very happy with the brightness & colour. Yours seems about the right colour temp.
Also Got warm white leds in my interior as it suits the mood of the interior and not overly bright white.
If you're interested, you can also change your turn signals to led. I did mine last year and I had a video of the install somewhere but I'll have to dig it up. Some wiring changeover is required as the +/- are the other way around for our R36.

Keen to see where you got the interior lights from mate. Yeah, I don't want them to light the interior of the car up so that it is daylight. I like the current light output, but would just like it to be white, that's all. I haven't investigated whether they need to be canbus friendly either. Will get around to it eventually.

    V8snerlo,

May I ask if the DRLs you have; do they dim when the parking lights are on or it switches off. Means they only turn on when the parking light/headlight is off.
Looking through some online it says automatic switch which turns off with headlights on.
    Thanks.

You have the choice mate. Ive got mine dimming but you can have them turn off. There are two wires out of the controller and there is a little diagram explaining which one to use depending on your needs. Really easy.

    Thanks for the reply.

I don't wanna be a pest but could you get some photos of your grill so I can see how you placed yours as I don't wanna cut into my grill as well.
Another thing, how easy was it to remove the grill? Last I tried it wouldn't come out even after removing the screws. Do I have to use a bit of force.
I'm now searching for the suitable drl to purchase.
    Thanks!

I'll see what I can do about a photo mate. I literally just have them pushed up against the vertical pillar part between the horizontal grills. Bit hard to explain I know but the ones I bought fit in there quite nicely and match the curvature of the grill around to the side of the car. As for removing the grills, they are a little tricky as there are little tabs top and bottom that have a little wedge style part that slips through a long hole in the main part of the bumper. You just have to push in a certain direction so that you can pull the wedge style part of the grill back through the hole. It is a little hard to explain unfortunately. I just got my hands in there and pushed up or down on the end of the tabs so that they would slip through the hole easy. The drivers side was slightly harder on both the cars that I have down. The bottom was a little bit of a pain and it feels like you are going to break something but you really have to get your hand in behind the blocked off part of the grill and find these tabs and try and push them down I think from memory. A little bit of force is needed with removing these but don't go ape ***** on them!!
