Windscreen replacment cost

I got stone hit to my windscreenshield...any idea how much would be windshield replacment for b6 passat (with sensors)...

Had mine replaced on my R36 recently, free through insurance. Sprecifically requested genuine which I believe came to about $600 for parts only

I just checked with my insurer (commonwealth bank). I do not have cover for windowscreen...
So, any idea how much woyld be if i go via vw service (burvin vw)

I had my windscreen replaced on my B7 after a stone whacked it (within one month of purchasing the car) and through O'Brien's, I had an acoustic windscreen replaced for $500.

I have now have windscreen cover, it's my 6th windscreen since I started driving in 2007.

Did they damage the paint cutting out the old screen?

This always worries me about getting a new screen installed.

Havent had a VW done yet but in my Landcruiser Obriens quoted $530. Had it done by a guy who used to do our bus windscreens for $245 while I waited.

He said it was the same screen Obriens use.

Moral is look around.
